Dr Neil Long’s Feedback Study

November 20, 2020 By Neil Long Leave a Comment

Firstly thank you for coming to this page and I hope that you are well. As an emergency physician it is very rare that I hear anything about my patients and without feedback its impossible to know how I, or the system should improve.

We know that for many of our patients your visit to the emergency department might have been the worst day of your lives and my hope is that by using your feedback I can make a positive change in the future to make our patient’s experience just that bit better.

Also know that we all genuinely care and do not want any harm to come to our patients, despite what may be in the media, Burnaby Emergency has one of the most dedicated teams that are constantly trying to improve and give you the best health care available. At times of high stress and fatigue we may not come across this caring, if our care didn’t meant your expectation I personally apologise and will contact you personally if you wish.

This feedback trial is the first of its kind and I was hoping you could spare 5–minutes to answer the following questions via the following link. It’d be very much appreciated!

  1. What was your final diagnosis?
  2. What did I do that you liked or thought were my strengths?
  3. What are my biggest weaknesses? Please be specific and how you think I may be able to improve them.
  4. Do you have any other feedback for how I can improve? The more blunt and candid you are the more helpful it is to me.

Thanks again for your time. If you would like me to investigate your case or give you a call back please leave your number and your PHN for me to look you up. This survey results are only monitored once a week and is not meant to replace your recommended healthcare follow up but if I can assist you in the future I will try.
